Generally, plan on going down one "Depth" with each run, and spending the rest to revive. You get 100 ME (mist energy) every 22 hours. You can do more research later on, but wolver is a great start. Getting started, buy a wolver coat and cap for armor. Not even close to the DPS of a sword though. Other bombs, like the blast bomb, do a decent amount of damage and have a huge radius and knockback, so are interesting for crowd control purposes. The Freezing Vaporizer is particularly effective, since it locks enemies into place. The Vaporizers leave gas on the ground that gives status effects to anyone that walks into it. I am not a big fan of bombs, but there is a lot of variety. There are better ones (such as the Pulsar or Antigua) but those are boss rewards, and will come later. Autoguns fire a lot of shots really fast, but they stop you from moving when you shoot, so they are kind of risky. Alchemers are nice because the bullets bounce after they hit enemies, so you can get multiple hits in, and they also have status effects. SPIRAL KNIGHTS BAZAAR UPGRADECalibur is popular, as a direct upgrade of the proto-sword, although there are a couple others with different playstyles, such as cutter (super fast) and troika (slow, but good for crowd control). Swords are your go-to, and getting started, you should focus on them. There are 3 kinds of weapons: Swords, Guns, and Bombs. 2 star items in the auction house will run you about 2000 crowns, which is not a lot. Generally, it is a good idea to skip 1 star items, because 2 star items are about twice as expensive and way more effective. There are 5 stars worth of gear, in 3 tiers: Your progression is entirely through gear. ![]()
